WD Framed Art — Catalog Builder

How to use this — the whole thing in 6 steps
Before anything else: put the Builder file, your artwork PNGs, and the spreadsheet all in one folder. Then double-click the Builder. It opens in your web browser like a website, but it is running on your own computer.
  1. Drop in your pictures. Open the folder with your artwork files. Select them all (click one, then press Ctrl+A) and drag them onto the tan box that says Masters. They will appear in the list below.
  2. Drop in the spreadsheet. Drag your CSV file onto the box that says Spreadsheet. Every title, size, and description fills in by itself. If you only have an Excel file, open it in Excel and choose File → Save As → CSV first.
  3. Click any artwork in the list. The page preview on the right changes to that piece, and Section 2 right below the list fills in with its title and description. That is where you edit anything that looks wrong.
  4. Check the two size boxes. Width and Height are in inches. If typing one changes the other, untick “Keep the shape locked” and then you can type both freely. Centimeters are worked out for you — never type those.
  5. Pick which description to print from the dropdown in Section 3. Your spreadsheet has six different ones written for different audiences. Try a couple and watch the preview.
  6. Export. Download this page gives you one artwork as a picture file. Export whole catalog gives you a PDF of everything — that is the file you email or take to the print shop.
If something looks wrong: nothing here can damage your original files. This tool only reads them. Close the browser tab and start again any time.
